Itinerary
Introduction
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Upon arrival, our transportation will come to pick you up at the airport for transfer to the hotel in Hanoi.In the afternoon, around 5p.m we start a street food by tasting cakes called “Pillow Cake” due to the same Pillow shape. Then, We taste one of the most famous Vietnamese foods is Chicken Noodle Soup. Take a walk around the Old Quarter and sample more street food before stopping for a local beer with potato chips at Ta Hien quarter. End of trip, back to your hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Night train to Lao Cai
Have breakfast at your hotel and be picked up and enjoy a full day Hanoi city tour including Ho Chi Minh complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, The Presidential Palace, House on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda). Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the First University of Vietnam. Lunch in a local restaurant.Return to Hanoi center for an hour walking tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to discover the daily life of Hanoian. End trip by watching the water puppet show to discover the beauty of this unique Vietnam traditional art. Dinner at your own account . After dinner catch a taxi by your self to the railway station where our staff will meet and greet you and bring you to your cabin for the night train to Sapa.
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L)
Arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning, transfer for breakfast then heading to Sapa. Today you will enjoy a beautiful hike through the amazing valley of Sapa. Make stops at Muong Hoa River, Lao Chai Village (home to Black Hmong people), Ta Van Giay and Giang Ta Chai (Red Dzao home). After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa.
Day 4: Ethnic Market – Train back to Hanoi
Visit a unique ethnic local market and see how tradings happen on the rural part of Vietnam. The market is different by day of the week and will be customised to your itinerary. In the afternoon board the night train back to Hanoi.(If the market visit ends early, you will take a coach back to Hanoi and spend the night at a hotel in Hanoi)
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay
At 8:15am be picked up by tour bus for a 4 hour bus ride to Halong Bay. Embark on your cruise trip to the world’s heritage Halong Bay with many activities such as swimming, kayaking and cooking class. Overnight on board.
Day 6: Halong – Hanoi
Start your day with morning Tai Chi. Explore a famous cave in Halong Bay. Freshen up and check out of your cabin. By noon you will disembark and return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.
Day 7: Hanoi Departure
Free time until transfer back to the airport. Have a safe flight and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi city and go directly to Halong Bay or return. This is the most comfortable trip for you. It’s also our recommendation whenever you are looking for a transfer from Hanoi city to Halong Bay or return. You will save a lot of time traveling and waiting.
