Vietnam Family Vacation

Arrival in Noi Bai airport , you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel in city center. The check-in is available at 2 pm. In the evening, at 17:45, pick up and transfer to Hoa’s house to enjoy dinner with family. Overnight at hotel.

Discover Hanoi by Jeep. We will drive through a maze of alleyways known ONLY by locals, make contact with people and get to know the behind-the-scenes stories. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius, which served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. Finally, discover the Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets & Corporations”. The tour ends with a stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword). Overnight in Hanoi.

7:00 pick up by private car. Arrive in Sapa at 12:00. We will leave our luggages at hotel then begin to visit the surrounding villages of Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai inhabited by Black Hmong and Ta Van village, home to the Dzay (Giay) ethnic people, located at the heart of the Muong Hoa valley. Back to Sapa for overnight.

After breakfast, private transport will take you to Silver Waterfall, the highest in Vietnam with a 300m drop, regularly visited by monks to pray. After that, we are driven to Tram Ton Pass where we will trek 30 minutes through the forest. Trekking along the Golden Stream, you will arrive at Love Waterfall. Then we continue our drive uphill to Heaven’s Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy a fantastic view over the valley!

After that, we will be transferred to a cable car station where we will have 25 minutes to travel to Fanxipan Mountain which is considered to be the most beautiful landscape of Vietnam now. Back to Sapa for overnight.

Pick you up at your hotel then follow national road 70 traveling through the lush farm land of Lao Cai province for 42 km to Phong Nien Commune, turn left and follow provincial road 154 which sneaks through the country side along the Chay river for 17 km to Coc Ly which offers beautiful scenery of high mountains, narrow valleys and terraced rice paddies. Coc Ly is a famous market where always crowded for the whole morning and over after lunch time. Leaving the market at noon, then drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

In the morning, our car and guide will pick you up to travel to Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam, about a two-hour drive from Hanoi. On arrival, you will visit two temples, one of them dedicated to Emperor Dinh and the other in memory of Emperor Le, followed by a brief visit to the remains of the Old Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit Tam Coc (three caves), a peaceful river between paddy fields and through the caves. After the boat trip in Tam Coc, the rest of day, we will cycle along winding roads passing lotus ponds, temples and cottages, typical of Vietnamese countryside to visit Bich Dong Pagoda situated on a hillside. Overnight in hotel in Tam Coc.

After breakfast depart to Halong Bay, passing a peaceful countryside with endless rice fields and winding rivers. Board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruises, we then set sail for Lan Ha Bay, World’s Most Beautiful Bays.

We will visit the Dark and Bright Cave – famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights, enjoy bamboo boat and swimming.

Enjoy sunset party and romantic diner. After that, immerse yourself in music, enjoying a glass of cocktail from the bar, and relaxing on the cruise. You can also fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch the bay from the balcony. Overnight on the cruise.

Rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck. After breakfast, continue our journey to explore the bay. Cruise will arrival Frog Pond area, in here you have kayaking and free to relax in the four season mini pool on Lan Ha Bay – A silk ribbon made from green mountains, blue seas and diverse fauna and flora.

Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch. Disembark and move back the port. Then a 3-hour drive will take you back to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Danang, then transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check in. Overnight in Hoi An.

Take bicycles along De Vong River to Cam An wharf. Embark on the boat to Cua Dai sand dune, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast net by local fisher man. Continue to Cam Thanh Water coconut village. Take on the basket boat along the water coconut river. Fisherman will teach you how to catch the crabs. Continue to take a bicycle to Tra Que village.

In the afternoon, you will visit Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese assembly halls, the 200- year old Tan Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Then stop at Reaching Out Tea House, delicious coffee, tea, fruit juices and biscuits are served in the charming atmosphere of an ancient house.

Breakfast at hotel and then day is yours to relaxing in the beach.

Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel at 12:00. Free time until transfer to the airport by driver (no guide) for flight back to Hanoi at 15:00. Arrive in Hanoi. Pick up and transfer to hotel by car (no guide). Overnight in Hanoi.
